What Is a Class Like?

Each class begins with a 15-minute introduction where we share updates with each other before diving into the curriculum to cover that particular class based on the Chubbuck technique. GMP Acting Classes also gears its education toward the commercial/film/TV spectrum. Scripts are chosen depending on the composition of each class, where you will work on character analysis, finding goals, substitutions, and improvisation. You will also learn the business side of the craft, including how IMDB works and differing agency requirements in your quest for professional representation.

GMP Acting Classes also holds talent showcases for different agencies each year at no additional cost. In the past, one of Kasha's students was cast for a role in the "Moon Knight," the Marvel Studios series for Disney+, while another was cast in the upcoming series "Ted," based on the Seth MacFarlane comedy film franchise of the same name.

How Much Does a Class Cost?

Students can join classes offered by GMP Acting Classes at any time. You do not need to wait until the beginning of the month to start.

Group Classes Cost

If an audition taping takes longer than an hour, then it will be an additional $50 for every hour, and $25 for 30 minutes.

Please note that our group classes are exclusively offered in a four-pack for $150. You can sign up and start classes at any time without waiting until the beginning of the month.

If a student is not going to be present for any reason, they need to cancel at a minimum of 24 hours ahead of time to avoid a penalty. If a student is a no-show or cancels with less than 24 hours until class time, that class is forfeited (unless there is an emergency or sickness, in which case a 4-hour minimum applies). Unused classes remain credited to you if notification is provided and roll over to the following week.
